A major focus of the ACE Program is to improve literacy through the use of technology. ACE has provided ongoing training and mentoring for teachers at Wood School on how to integrate technology into the Language Arts Curriculum. A mentor from the Southern Regional ETTC through Stockton State College has spent many hours working with teachers in the classrooms to develop various technology skills and lessons. Students have been able to work on projects at the ACE Center classes after-school.

The Millville ACE Program has hosted Family Literacy Nights at the Community Hall at Holly Berry Court and at the Millville Public Library. These events involved children and adults learning about literacy resources and using the ACE Center computers. Norm Gluckman of the Library did dramatic readings of children's books and the Cumberland County Literacy Institute provided free books for the children.
