Welcome to the Veterans Interview Project Website!  This page will give you the necessary information to acquire valuable first-hand knowledge from V.I.P.s.  Having students meet and interview veterans can be an exciting educational experience that will stick with them for the rest of their lives.  In particular, there is still the opportunity to ask questions directly of World War II veterans who were involved in some of the most important and memorable events in history.

This site contains all of the tools that will enable you to take advantage of this outstanding opportunity, including:

• a podcast introducing and describing the project
• lesson plans for various activities related to veteran interviews
• a vodcast containing an index of veterans already interviewed
• history of the project, including recognition given to it on the local, state, and national levels
• a multimedia project sample that students could complete after conducting an interview
