Halloween Pumpkin Extravaganza

The Millville Recreation Department announced that it will hold its annual Halloween Pumpkin Extravaganza on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Corson Park, Rt. 49 (W. Main St.) in the City.

Pumpkin decorating, scary stories, hay rides, petting zoo, costume parade and pony rides are just some of the fun activities that will take place for children ages pre-K through 12 years of age. The fun begins at 11:00 am and continues until 2:00 pm.

Children who participate in the FREE event will be able to decorate over 300 pumpkins, provided by the Recreation Department. Prizes will be awarded to those who participate in the pumpkin decorating and costume parade, and all who attend will receive a free gift. All children are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costume.

Hot Dogs and Soda will be sold throughout the day by the Millville Municipal Alliance, as well as, coffee and donuts. Admission is free, open to the public and a full day of fun is planned. For further information, please contact the Recreation Department at 856-825-7000, ext. 7392.
