Residential properties, are charged a minumum fee based on the above chart, any usage in excess of the quarterly allowance, will be charged $3.50 per 1,000 gallons of overage
If the meter is showing zero usage, the property is still assessed a minimum charge, therefore we recommend if a property will be vacant for any length of time, having it officially turned-off. This will stop all Water and Sewer Billing, until the water service is re-instated.
Commercial properties, are billed for water the same as a residential home. A mimumum fee per quarter is assessed depending on the size of the meter, and any overage is charged at $3.50 per 1,000 gallons over the quarterly allotment.
